No, it's for casting. It will transmit from a computer, tablet, phone. Then receive and display the online content on a larger display (ie TV). Hope that helps.

No. It does not browse. It only streams information in 1 direction. Much faster than wireless. Once going, it steams from the internet instead of from the phone(device).
