According to articles I've read, the Chromecast Ultra supports 4K UHD, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Dolby Digital Plus.

Please try again later.I don't work for Google, but have both the 1st & 2nd gen Chromecasts, I will say if the standards for both will remain the same on the Ultra, and what I mean is that the Audio and video output on your Monitor/TV is only as powerful as your source AND Wifi/WiDi network, I have no doubt it won't support Dolby Atmos output. Subjects like that never really reflect the capabilities of the apps themselves, However whether or not the sources (laptop, phone, tablet) are able to receive and play that technology. and being that the hook up of the chromecast is HDMI, both the A/V will be brought from your source to the screen.
