You can stream anything from your phone to the Chromecast. If you log into your sling TV app from your phone then mirror your device you can definitely watch sling tv on your television. Make sure your internet connection is at least 100mbps to avoid a lot of buffering and that the device you're streaming from isn't too outdated. My tablet buffers more often than when using my phone to stream.
