I have the old chromecast, worked fine, I recently enabled my wireless dual band router for 5g due to other issues with internet drops on other devices. other devices work faster are fine except my chromecast. I tried to select 5g but it won't let me. null

If it's the old one, it only works only on the 2.4 G.

The "old" or 1st generation Chrome cast does not support the 5ghz spectrum. New ones do.
