The Only Practical Differences in the Pool While the data collected is identical, you may prefer one over the other based on these two purely physical design factors: Screen Readability: The Charge 6 has a larger, brighter 1.04-inch screen, which makes it much easier to peek at your lap count through foggy swim goggles. The Inspire 3 screen is tiny (0.74-inch), making it difficult to read mid-workout. Menu Navigation: The Charge 6 lets you adjust your pool length settings directly on your wrist right before your swim. On the Inspire 3, you generally have to rely on setting the pool length beforehand within the phone app. If you already own the Inspire 3, upgrading to the Charge 6 will not give you better swimming data. If you are choosing between buying the two solely for pool workouts, the Inspire 3 gives you the exact same results for a lower price.
