This is two nodes, either of which can be used as the main router.
Once you set up one as a router, the other is added as a node.
You can also use just one if desired.

Hello i sell and install these routers for work. Technically its two routers. But the 2nd router acts as a point (i think thats what you mean by node). For set up download the google home app and create your home, plug one into your modem, a small blue should appear on the front towards the bottom, add new device on google home app and follow the instruction. The second plugs into an outlet in the area you want to increase coverage, blue light, instructions in app. When done it creates the mesh network and will tell you if the point is too far or not. Now because they are both routers and you have two homes and want to set up one in each home. You can do that as well.
