• This does not work. Nest audio cannot be used as one would use a sound bar.

• Yes, you can. You may set up Nest Audio as a group speaker with your TV if it's having a Chromecast device or a built-in Chromecast. You may also have the option to pair Nest Audio via Bluetooth, if your TV supports Bluetooth connectivity.
