Will nest audio work with Google TV/Chromecast and play audio from TV and act as your sound system? null

Pairing Nest speakers with Chromecast for video using the Google Home app or voice command. Trying to get chromecast with Google tv to stream audio to my pair of nest audio. I’ve made a group and I have changed the default tv to the chromecast tv. Nothing seems to be working I would appreciate some help on this I’m sure it’s possible.

Not easily. The only way would be to put them in a speaker group together in the Home app, then manually activate that speaker group every time you watch.

While you can add your Chromecast with Google TV and Nest speakers in a speaker group to play music, podcasts, and other audio entertainment, we don't officially support pairing Nest speakers with Chromecast as an audio output for video playing on the TV. You may get it to work a few times, but we can't guarantee that it will always pair successfully.
