• The camera attaches via a magnet to the base. You just take it off the base and charge it via the provided short cable. The downside is that it takes about 4 hours to charge so the camera is unavailable in the original placement during charging. I purchased the optional cable.

• The Google camera for outside comes with a mount and a charging cord that pops into the port on the bottom of the camera. Or you can get the cord to plug it in. Charge life carries with your settings you chose

• Plug it in to the port…your phone has no wires, yet you charge that everyday. Same exact concept.
