Very simple, you just pull the camera off the strong magnetic bass and charge it with the charging cord that’s provided. Just like your charging your cellphone

The Home app will show you how much time you have left until your battery will need to be charged, and the app will also notify you once the camera needs to charge. Simply remove it from the magnetic mount or stand and charge it using the USB-C charging cable. And although the camera can run on battery alone, if you prefer it wired for continuous power, you can connect your camera to a standard household power outlet with the included or optional power adapter (weatherproof cable) that will keep the battery charged.
