The included charging cable (indoor rated) measures 3.3 ft (1 m). Nest Cam weatherproof cables (sold separately) are available in 5m and 10m. Please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use and you can use a compatible weatherproof cable (sold separately).

Nest Cam (battery) has a magnet that has been tested through category 2 hurricane-strength winds (96-110 mph 83-95 kt 154-177 km/h) and extreme weather conditions. Simply attach the wall plate with the included screws, then secure the magnetic plate onto the backplate, and the magnetic plate can firmly hold your camera in place.

We have 2 of the cameras (bsttery) mounted near outdoor light fixtures - in case we needed to hard wired them. So far no issues. 
The 3rd camera (also battery) is mounted directly to outside wall. We have whole house Wifi and husband mounted closest to the best signal strength. Again so far no issues.

Probably about 6’. Yes there is a small round mount about the size of the white mount you see in the picture. Hides behind mount flat so you wound notice. Two screw holes or super magnetic.
