Thank you for asking this question! I'm dying to know the answer. I still can't figure out why in the world they discontinued the IQ without having a successor ready to launch. It's unreal and a total drop of the ball in my opinion.

Please try again later.No. Nest Cam (battery) is not the upgraded version of Nest Cam IQ, but this is the first battery camera created at Google Nest which features full on-device intelligence to detect pets, vehicles, people, and faces all without any cloud processing. The product also has an ecosystem of accessories that allow customers to put it on a table top surface, plug it in outdoors, power it with Power over Ethernet (PoE), or hook it to a solar panel.
