It does not flash and u can turn off the green light. Only lights that show are at some angles u can see the red lights inside the unit.

Please try again later.I'm not sure what you mean by IR (infrared?) but you can turn off all lights for the camera within the app. Select the camera, then on the little wheel on the top right if you touch that, we will see all of the various controls. You can turn off the talk and listen chime, the status light, and control sound.
