• the video quality will not be at its best as the camera has multiple filters in front of it, you might also get some window glare.

• This unfortunately will not work at night as infrared cannot penetrate glass so you will essentially just see a white screen.

• You could do this with the Nest Cam Outdoor, but you will have issues with reflections on the window and it may miss movement or obstruct the view of the Nest Cam at certain times of the day. We do recommend installing the Nest Cam Outdoor on the outside of your home.

• I tried this before I had it installed outside and the screen was not an issue. The issue you will have is light reflecting off the window and that obstructs your view. We couldn't see anything with the reflection.
