“We just installed these cameras. We are having the issue of motion alerts every minute in our yard because we have an American flag on a pole that moves in the wind. Is there a way to set the camera to "ignore" the flag without removing it?”

You can change the notifications in app to only alert you to people (will reduce unwanted notifications from other movement)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In the settings, you can localize the area that you want to focus on. On full screen on my computer (nest.com), in the lower right hand corner is a square that says Zones. Click on that and then click Create and it will give you a box to resize and move around to the area you especially want to monitor. You might be able to exclude the flag. You could also turn off the notification for motion alerts and/or people alerts. Somehow it recognizes if a person is moving around. We turned off the motion sensor but the left the person sensor on for notifications.
