This streams and records constantly, so even if you get a late notification, you can go back in 15 second increments and see the whole part of video you wanna see.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For my 24 Hour testing period it has worked very well - But any system will have some false positives. WiFi cameras can really put a load on your network, remember that wifi has a single path, so all data gets in line for network access. I have the Asus AC5300 in the house for this reason, it has 3 Radiods and I put differenet devices on each radio. If you decide to put too many cameras on a single SSID, latency could cause issues like you described. As it is right now, it records well and doesnt have any "noticeable" lag on my network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From my testing there was very little lag. There is some, of course, but it was maybe 1-2 seconds behind. The motion detection seems to be perfect. It ignores far off motion, but records anything within 10-15 feet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Delay is a second or so on the NEST HELLO. I know because as I tested it, I could hear my wife talk inside and then hear her voice outside; and vice-versa. So it is not what I'd consider a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This may have more to do with your network than the actual doorchime. I can say that I have a -59dB signal at the front door and the delay in the live feed on my phone is less than a second.
