• Make sure your installer uses the attachment that goes up in to your doorbell chime. We had trouble with our doorbell chime because it was 35 years old. Decided to buy a new one at Home Depot for 30 dollars and it works fine. Good luck.

• This chime doesn't appear to be on our incompatible list, so as long as it meets the other requirements for the Nest Hello, this would be expected to work. You can check for compatibility here: https://nest.com/support/article/How-to-tell-if-Nest-Hello-will-work-in-your-home
