Google did an onstage demo of this behavior when they first announced the Nest Hello, so it will indeed use Google Home devices to give doorbell notifications. However, they didn't specifically state that this ability would be live at the time of launch, so there's a chance it may be enabled at a later date.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It does. It will announce someone is at the door on Google Home / Mini. It will announce one more than one if you want. I originally held off on buying it because I wanted it to ring more than just on my phone. It DOES work. I have it installed and it announces on my Google Homes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should be able to. There will be a custom setting for that with Nest. Since this product also has face detection, it should hopefully tell you who’s at the front door if you link a photo with a name. Again, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. We shall see how the product is at first!
