• Many local contractors will install this and connect it for you. But it is very easy for a person who is handy, only took me 20 minutes to install each of the two I have in use. WIFI connection only requires you knowing your router's name and password. Doubt it could be easier.

• I had an electrician install a new doorbell transformer (the old transformer amps were too low) but I installed the Nest myself and then set it up. It took 15 - 20 minutes total.
