The doorbell does come with a 15 degree angle piece. This allows you to angle in either direction right or left to open up the view of the camera. The field of view is large and it actually captures more than you would think. However the alcove may be the biggest problem. Not sure there is a solution for that unless you consider re-locating the ringer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So mine is similar to this. My door is off 45 degrees from my walkway. The camera is wide enough (I believe 160 degrees) to see it as is. However it also comes with a 45 degree (I think it was 45)bracket that worked perfectly for my situation. Worst case if you are 90 degrees from your walk way and you use the bracket you should be able to see just fine!
