• Yes it needs between 16v-24v.

• With my replacement transformer at 16v, it was showing a yellow circle light, meaning it needed more power. so be aware that depending on the length of your wire run, this may not work with 16v, you might have to upgrade to 24vac.

• The average doorbell system is around 16V and the Hello does need 16V of power
