• Yes, the nest doorbell records 24/7. You will need the Nest service to review past activites. I think it stores 5 or 30 days worth of footage. I love the nest doorbell with google home hub and Phillip's lights to turn on automatically.

• The Nest Hello doorbell does record all video within its view. It also sends alerts to your smartphone. You will need to get the Nest Aware app downloaded and that sends all video up to a cloud server for future reference or use.
