I know my livingroom thermostat is set to get to a particular temperature by 9:00 a.m. The thermostat knows about how long it will take to get to that temperature, so it will start earlier, to get it to temp on time. Mine usually comes on almost an hour before, to get to temperature by 9:00
A:AnswerThe learning setting takes place right after you install. My routine is irregular so this wasn’t very helpful. But you can set a daily schedule of when you’d like it turned on and off as well as set the temp at each interval. Super easy to do. You can also override the system by the app if you are away from home as well.
A:AnswerYES!!! I don't have a C wire and I was worried about this too. But it just steals a trickle of power from the HVAC line which keeps it going just fine. You don't need a C wire or a pricey electrician.
