• Yes it can but you may need to set up more than Nest thermostat and set it up as a zoned system. In zoned systems, each thermostat controls heating and cooling independently in order to heat or cool different areas of the house. Thermostats in zoned systems can control the same heating and cooling system or each thermostat can control its own system. We recommend consulting with a Nest Pro technician or your preferred HVAC technician to set this up as it includes installation of air dampers and ductwork throughout your home.
