With a learning thermostat model they will send the temperature to the thermostat which will then turn the furnace on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can set which thermostat is in control of the furnace during 4 time zones; morning, daytime, evening, and nighttime. So I have mine controlled by the living area except for nighttime, which is controlled by the bedroom thermostat.

If you’re sitting in your living room you can tell your best to control the temperature in that room and the sensors are what help it to do that. We use them at night to adjust our bedrooms to be cooler than the rest of the house.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can set your themo stat to respond to that sensor. We have bird cage. We put on in her cage. When it get low it turns the themorstat on WE have a total of 8 sensors. Hope this helps.
