“Does the range of 50 ft bluetooth connection listed mean distance to the thermostat? Will it work well through several walls to connect to the main thermostat?”

I have a Gen 3 Learning Thermostat and 2 sensors in a 3-story home. The thermostat is on my main floor, one sensor is in my basement, and one sensor is on the 2nd floor. The signal goes through multiple walls, and even the wooden/carpet floors of my home without any signal degradation.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That 50 ft number does mean the distance to the thermostat. That is usually the line of sight number with no obstructions like walls in between. I have one of mine about 25 ft away and two walls in between and have no connection issues.
