Yes, that’s what I did. During setup, you’ll be asked for wired or wireless option. Doesn’t matter if you buy the battery version.

Yes. It took me 23 minutes to install. 35-year old doorbell transformer, wiring and chime. Working great. But I also added a Google speaker to take to the back porch. And because it’s fun and cool.

Unfortunately, you can't. If you are interested in hardwiring your Nest Doorbell (Battery), consider one of our wired Nest cameras or Nest Doorbell (Wired) models.
