Google Home Minis can play the Nest's Doorbell tones through their speakers. I believe you have to set it up to do so in the Google Home App on your phone. *** Also, make sure your WiFi router isn't overloaded. My Xfinity router/modem can only handle 10 WiFi devices at once, and this is pretty typical of most Cable Providers routers/modems. This will cause random items to drop off your WiFi connection when more than 10 devices are using it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The new Nest Doorbell is designed to replace your existing doorbell. If you plan to use your Indoor Chime, you’ll need a transformer with 8-24 VAC, max power of 40 VA and frequency of 50-60Hz, and you should check first that your doorbell system will work. You can also use Google Assistant-enabled speakers or displays to announce when someone is at the door. If your Nest Doorbell won’t stay connected, we suggest the following: - Check if the doorbell has power. - Check and make sure you have the latest app version. - Check if your camera or doorbell feels really warm or cold as your doorbell might disconnect from Wi-Fi to help protect itself.
