Hi Prem, while the Purple-ish color is not sold in India the unlocked version is still able to work there. Please be advised that since this SKU is not sold in India, there may be some difficulties if you need a device replacement or repair as warranty support is only available through the country that the model was purchased in.

No, this model is the North American model, not the international model.
