pre order date?? null

Pre-orders begin October 19th 2021, and release date is October 28th 2021.

This is annoying. I went to the Best Buy in Hartsdale NY earlier this week to pre order a Pixel 6 Pro and was told they were NOT taking pre orders by one of the phone salespeople there. I tried to tell him that I thought they would, but he insisted that no, the phone was not able to be ordered. And the only way I was able to get any attention at the phone kiosk was when the alarm went off as I was handling the dummy Pixel 6 Pro. Not happy at all with this service. Of course, by first thing yesterday morning, the day of the phone release, everything at Best Buy for unlocked Pros was sold out. So who bought all those phones if customers were unable to do so?
