It should, thats what the (unlocked) means. If you go to a carrier and buy a phone from there they will have the phone locked to only that carrier. Didnt always work like that, Verizon was first to do internal sims that you dont remove and basically you have to activate the phone, and ATT you can just swap sims and keep on.
