I had a few music albums that did not transfer as readable files, but for the most part it worked well. It also kept most of my text message/iMessage history. You will need to turn off encrypted backups to let the Pixel have access to some of this stuff, but the setup process tells you how to do that if needed.

A dongle is included in the box to help you do this. You will NOT be able to transfer any DRM protected songs from the iTunes store, but any of your own music in your music library (or non-DRM music from the iTunes store that you may have paid extra for) or any downloaded (non-protected) music in another app like Google Music on your iPhone should transfer too. Any pictures or videos that you took on your iPhone will transfer, as long as there's enough space. The transfer will take some time depending on how much there is, so be patient. :)

But beware, if you want to keep music in iTunes music and transfer to the Pixel, you need to pay for an app. The most highly recommended ones that I found were DoubleTwist (which I could not get working because SOME songs had DRM) and some other one which had a price tag of $60.
