What is the monthly cost and provider? null

This is a wifi access point and not internet service. An access point attaches to your internet gateway and provides wifi throughout your home. You would need to obtain internet from an Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as AT&T, Xfinity, etc. Google *was* in the business of providing commercial and consumer internet (Google Fiber) but I believe they have scaled back that effort. There is no monthly fee to use the Google wifi. You paid for it at the store. I use Specrtum as my internet supplier.

Any provider you want; no extra charge if you use your own router or modem.

Any provider you choose. If you are now renting their equipment, you can return it. Monthly cost will be whatever you now pay less rental fee.

Of a Wi-Fi router, really. Monthly cost: zero. It's completely free internet with no carrier needed as long as it's connected to an activated modem.
