I love my Google Wifi,I replaced a Linksys router with it but I was covering over 3K square feet. Check the placement of your router and make sure there isn't a bunch of metal around it to cause interruption of the signal. It could be the way the building is built. If you purchased two of them you could put one at each end and it would surly fix the problem you are having.
