“I have Century Link DSL with a router/modem combo unit. I would like to connect the Google Wifi via a cable to a location upstairs. How do I connect to the router modem? Will I have 2 networks and will I be able to add a 2nd Google point? thanks.”

You connect one of the devices near your router with the lead going to that. The 2nd point needs power and connect that, through the Google Wifi app to the mesh network.

Please try again later.Google WiFi canes with an Ethernet Cable that will connect your 1st pod to your modem after you download their app. You simply position additional pods and connect them to the base easily. The app will tell you if the pod needs to be moved closer. I get over 110 download speed and at least 13 upload speed throughout the houses - 3,100 sq ft - I shaped with brick walls.
