If the signal is good coming into the house, then Google WiFi will vastly improve the wireless signal around the rest of your home. I am very satisfied with what it did for my home.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean regarding your wifi being underground, but if your TV a bit distant from your wifi router (e.g., router in basement and TV upstairs), using the mesh feature (two or more units - they can be purchased either singly or in three-packs) may help by having a "bridge" unit between the TV and the main unit to help extend a stronger wifi signal towards your TV's location.
