I'm in a 1100 square ft home with 1. I may add another, I get excellent coverage in most of the house and very good coverage through out. Your're 2200 sq ft coverage will depend on how the house is laid out, I would guess a ranch would do well with 2, offset on either end from the middle of the home. In my case, the one pack made sense, as they are $99 each, and I knew I wouldn't need 3 of them. In your case, you may want to think about the value of the 3 pack, which is $25 less than buying individually. I suspect 2 will do, but you may be on the edge of 3 making sense based on the discount and the fact that 3 will absolutely cover your home and likely some yard too.
