• No it won’t connect to your router. They are not wifi extenders. The pucks create a mesh network which differs from your current routers signal

• I recommend buying the three pack at Best Buy. This replaces your current router. The Google WiFi app will help you place them so you can optimize signal strength

• I connected the secondary box then moved it to closer to where I needed it and it still worked! Really made a stronger connection in my house
