The Fusion can handle some force, but you'll want to be careful if the force from the waterfall would exceed what the camera would experience at 5 meters. A light stream of water is going to be fine. A high falls may be too much though.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not happy with the Go pro GoPro-Fusion 360-Degree Digital Camara , what so ever. Very expensive, and I found it to be very cheap manufactured. The first thing that happened is the the cover /side door for the USB -c fall out of place. When I bought that I put it to charge the cover fell out. I tried to put it back but I could not. I went back to Best Buy immediately to return it thinking it was damaged. It was replace . It happened to the second one I bought. Meaning that since the Go Pro is water proof it can get wet or debris In the USB-C port. With out this door/cover the GoPro Will get damage and they don’t sell an protection plan. If your like me you don’t want to buy a product the pieces are falling apart and eventually that piece will get lost. They sell this this replacement side door for Fusion. Meaning they know it falls off and 95% get lost unless you use the GoPro without this side door, allowing debris or water to accumulate in the port. 2nd it requires sunDisk extreme plus 64GB micro memory card for it to function. Making it more costly, 3rd you will also need an extra rechargeable lithium -ion backup battery. The fully charge Fusion Battery life is 75 -80 minutes.
