Yes, because this is water proof and has up to 4K resolution
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hopefully we aren't to late. I've had the hero 4 for a couple of months and I'm sure it will do great for you. The only thing I don't recommend is trying to take far away pictures. You can't zoom in with the go pro. But if your up close its amazing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera comes with a Standard Backdoor housing which makes the housing waterproof to 131’ (40m). The quality of the videos/pictures are clear, crisp, and vibrant. However when using the standard housing, the sound is diminished quite a bit, so keep that in mind. You could also use the Touch Backdoor, which is also waterproof, and lets you use the Touch Display and provides waterproof protection to 10’ (3m).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a good camera for video and action shots. While it may suit your needs, it sounds like you would be better off with a waterproof point and shoot camera. I only say this because the picture quality would be better and GoPro is more for video.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is an awsome camera, with more light outside the picture quality will be better. But with no zoom, it does not make much for a camera. It does have the option to turn on one touch on, but takes several seconds to boot up, better off with a regular camera. Also if you are taking this into the water, purchase a second backplate and buy the orange float for it as it will sink otherwise.
