Bought this go pro for vacations and for taking on hikes, worked great for getting a lot of scenery and for picking up the banter from fellow hikers.

Super easy to use gopro that can take video of travel footage. GoPro has a editing tool that you can easily edit your video into a professional one. Likely need extra battery other than what's already included and a larger SD card.

Life advice for you: buy the old GoPro model when the new one comes out. I bought this one when the 5 series had become available, so it was discounted. Honestly the differences between versions at this point are less and less pronounced. We love this camera! It's been great so far and there are plenty of 3rd party accessories available to go with it. I'd recommend spending quality time testing it out at the house before you do anything important with it. Also recommend buying the two battery charger and extra batteries to go with it to have on the go. This thing can eat through battery pretty quickly. If you use an older or low performing micro SD card in it, you may find the video quality suffers. Just my experience in testing a few micro SDs I had available before buying a higher end model. I also really advise you to get an image stabilizing grip/stand. Makes a world of difference in your final video product!

This is the best if you love to get the perfect outdoor pictures!! Even though the Hero 6 is out, I still think this is just as good if you're starting out. It's super easy to use, and the outcome is phenomenal. Highly recommend to anyone who needs an all-in-1 camera!

Easy to carry around in vacation and take action pics while zip lining or snorkeling. Easy plug in view on tv via HDMI. GREAT PICTURES. Get an additional backup battery.

I have a hero2 and upgrading to the Hero4 has been great. Love the touchscreen and Bluetooth capabilities. It connects to my phone and keeps all files to be accessible at anytime. Love it! GoPro keeps getting better!

It is a very nice camera in every sense, but the most incredible feature is when you want to take a picture at night. Somehow it manages to absorb the light and amazingly creates a beautiful picture.

I love this camera. It is small and compact to carry in my pocket. I can bring it under water without worries. I haven’t had any leaks yet. (Crossing my fingers). One thing that did happen was the clasp for the waterproof body is attached by a plastic lock mechanism and it eventually snapped off. I had to buy a new case this time with a metal mechanism.

Used it scuba diving and snorkeling excursions. Great for snorkeling but for scuba a filter is needed to have clear images/ video

This gopro was great to video my sons wedding. Then he was able to take it on his honeymoon. Built in wi-fi, Bluetooth, still shots, videos, many custom settings and Wearable. You can buy many optional accessories to customize your gear. You can capture images and videos you would have missed without this great addition.

Great product, fairly easy to use, just wish we remembered to use it more when we go fishing! Lol forget we have it with us.

Absolutely in love with my GoPro. I take it to the beach, paddleboarding, traveling, etc. Takes great shots!!

This is a great little camera for action and underwater HD video. We first used it on our honeymoon to French Polynesia for underwater video while snorkeling the coral reefs. Great color rendition and case was perfectly waterproof. We also use it for whitewater kayaking video and photos.

I love this camera for its quality and the fact that it captures so much more than your phone ever could in terms of wide angles (practically like a panorama) - the only thing that could improve is possibly having a zoom function and a flash function for photos at night for future models.
