Yes they have a time lapse feature that you can customize to your liking it can take 1,5&12 sec increments to come out with An amazing video

Yes choose time lapse for your shot mode. The cam will take stills at what ever intervals u set for the delay. At the end of the sequence the cam will stitch all the still together to make a short fast video.

You can use the software to speed up the video on your computer or set it up under Time laps Video mode and set it to .5 seconds. Your play back is about 30 frames per second, so this will speed your video by around 15 times, A really cool option I love.

Sure. You could do that in two ways. One with the camera. Use the time lapse photo option. This will take a pic every half second and puts it all together in a movie form. It's very cool, I've made a few of these myself. Or you do this with your editing software. Just speed up the video. Most editing softwares have this capability.

Yes, but it requires editing the video in GoPro Studio.
