• I think the main difference of the two is that the black is made for the 4k tv's that are out now and the silver isn't. So it will play in 4k and the silver will just be 1080.

• Both have the same kind of lens but the differences in quality are: Black vs Silver 4K - NOT UHD - NOT 1080@120fps - 1080@60fps 720@240fps - 720@120fps Both have the same picture quality

• I think the main difference between the Silver and the Black is the higher frame rate of the Black. The Silver has the built in BacPac though that I found most appealing. The quality of the video of both of these models is much more than most need, myself included. Exceptional!
