Yes, it works for those type of light settings. Outside at night not as much.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We did some late evening videos with it attached to a RC Rock Crawler and they were not a very high quality. One hour earlier they were fabulous. Look on the product website, I think GoPro tells you about how much light is needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends. The Silver edition can record decent video in low light with the proper ISO settings adjusted. The Black edition has better low light options but that one does not have a touch screen and is more expensive. The GoPro wide angles would be great for capturing a large room such as a church. However, please be aware of the capabilities of a GoPro. It does not zoom. So if there is a performance you are trying to capture you would need to be closer to the subject. And as for sound- you would need to use a skeleton housing that would allow you to access the ports. Then you could get a micro to 3mm mic adapter and attach an external microphone to it. Just from experience. If you have an external mic attached then turn of the wifi settings. Otherwise you will have distorted sound from frequency related interference. I am ALL about the GoPro. But, for your needs you may want to either test one out beforehand or look into an actual video camera instead of an action cam.
