“I am interested in a GoPro to take video and possibly photos of bioluminesent plankton while kayaking. I was wondering if this is capable of good quality low light photos and video as it must be really dark out to see the bioluminesent creatures? Thanks!”

There are some settings you can select to maximize the HERO6 Black's performance in low light, but it does work best in brighter situations.
