• The GoPro out of the box is waterproof enough to where you do not need a special miniSD card.

• The camera is sealed. You don't need a waterproof SD card. It is rated for 33ft. I would image in you took it deeper the case would leak from the pressure. They do make a case for the camera if you want to use it while SCUBA diving.
