A:AnswerMost dash cams compress the video for longer duration, not sure go pro has that feature, you can go the lowest resolution and would give oyu more storage witha larger sd card.
A:AnswerI am not sure what you meant by protective housing? there is a housing that comes with it but it only protects the sides and part of the screen
A:AnswerI don’t believe they have that offer, but I did receive a $60 Gift Card when I purchased mine! I would check with your local Best Buy and see if they still have that offer so you can keep your GoPro for 2 angles!
A:AnswerYes! All of your accessories should work except for maybe a dive case or if you have an extended battery with case. The clip attachment is all the same.
A:AnswerThere’s quite a bit difference! You can compare all the features on the GoPro website between them, but live on social media, hypersmooth, time warp, longer battery life, and there’s a huge difference in resolution!!
A:AnswerIt is incredibly smooth! All the biking vids you see have them wearing it on their chest. That takes a bit of the shock out of the camera but still, they are on jagged roads. I mount mine on my handlebar and I ride a stand up bike so the ride is firm. This camera rocks! It takes a pretty big hit to make it shake.
A:AnswerI just bought the Hero 6 for $400 at Best Buy in mid-August so the return period just ended before the Hero 7 was released. I guess I should have realized that a new one was coming out but, since there had not been any price drops, I thought that it might be awhile. So, I am in the same boat as you. On top of that, I have not been able to get this Hero 6 to recognize my 128 GB card nor work with GoPro Studio or Quik yet. Need to do more problem solving before declaring it DOA.
