• Yes, its compatible with Androids. I assume if you have the needed equipment to use as a dashcam you could do so. There's all types of equip for many activities.

• It is perfectly compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S7. You just need to install the app. It /could/ be used as a dashcam but there are actually MUCH cheaper options out there.
