• The remote is solely for controlling the camera. It cannot be used to upload. The app can be used to upload directly to social media.

• Sadly no. The remote will only control the GoPro camera functions, such as taking pictures, videos, etc. To upload to Facebook you will need either the free GoPro app or a 3rd party app to upload to Facebook.
