Will this remote work on the Hero9? null

Yes I believe so. It is a good device. With constant stop and starts the battery has a tendency to drain, I start and stop the camera in between innings or when there is a delay in the game.

The Smart Remote is not compatible with the HERO9 Black. There is a new remote that is available for the HERO9 Black.
